The Committee of the Prix Grand Siècle of the great champagne producer Laurent-Perrier, chaired by Claudie Haigneré, selected the Brain and Spine Institute as its Laureate, thus conforming to the goal of the Prize created by Bernard de Nonancourt: “honouring those men and women who, through their commitment and conviction, uphold the sustainable values of our time”.
A donation of 30,000 euros illustrates this support and encourage the passion and conviction of those who launched this project: the 2010 award was given to professor Gérard Saillant in the presence of professors Yves Agid and Olivier Lyon-Caen, Jean Todt and Jean-Pierre Martel on Monday 22 November 2010 during a ceremony at the Pavillon Gabriel in Paris – France.
