Biography

Etienne Hirsch is leader of the Experimental Therapeutics of Parkinson’s Diseases team and association director of the research center of the ICM since 2009. He received his MSc and his PhD in Neurobiology from Pierre and Marie Curie University. He is elected in 2011 member at the National French Academy of Pharmacy, and he is part of many editorial boards including that of Neuroscience (associate editor). He received several awards including the “Prix Aimée et Raymond Mande” of the National Academy of Medicine in 2011 and is “Chevalier de l’ordre des palmes academiques” since 2009.
