Robert Miller, Professor at the School of Medicine & Health Sciences, was at the ICM on May 9, 2016. He explains his recent research, about the role of astrocytes in the brain. These cells from the Central Nervous System (CNS), favour, depending on situations, either the demyelination of the CNS or its remyelination. These findings suggest new leads for the treatment of demyelinating diseases.
