Specialist in mathematical modelling of neuroimaging data, Stanley Durrleman, a researcher of the Institut du Cerveau – ICM ARAMIS team, just received an ERC grant to support ambitious and innovative scientific projects.
The goal of his research is to create a digital model of the brain evolution during normal aging or during the progression of various diseases, such as Alzheimer’s or frontotemporal dementias. The impact of this project is huge since it will eventually allow personalising each patient’s diagnosis and predict the course of the disease in order to better tailor the treatment.
