THE UCIL LIVING LAB PARTICIPATES IN THE " 48 HOURS TO GENERATE IDEAS " PROGRAM

From November 17 to 19, 1500 students from 10 major French cities and 7 major foreign cities work simultaneously on 12 innovation topics, entrusted by companies. This year, the ICM uCIL Living Lab participates in the operation.

The uCIL Living Lab aims at imagining and proposing innovations (technologies, products, services) meeting the concrete needs of the healthcare system in neurology and psychiatry.

The Living Lab is dedicated to patients and medical staff, involving them closely in the effective development of innovations, from idea generation to introduction on the market.

Organised in 2 days of continuous work, the “48 hours to generate ideas” event confronts students in all phases of the innovation process : team cohesion, context analysis, news monitoring, creativity, consultation with experts, modeling and prototyping…. In collaboration with corporate executives and teachers, students must meet requirement specifications.

The purpose of this project is to bring students into a real professional situation : within a short period of time, they will be required to provide the expected deliverables and convince a professional jury of the relevance of the solutions presented.
