On March 23 and 24 th, 2016, the ICM and the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI, Canada) organised a workshop bringing together researchers and students on the topic of neurodegenerative diseases.

The latest advances on Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, fronto-temporal dementias, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and the prion diseases have been presented by experts in each field.

This workshop was a unique chance to talk about the scientific progress of both Institutes, to promote the emergence of cross-cutting projects and define future innovative projects in order to set up collaborative research programs.

The two previous workshops organised between the ICM and the MNI related to ALS have been a real success too, allowing the implementation of fruitful collaborations.
