Team “Genetics and physiopathology of epilepsy”
Theo Ribierre has joined the team in September 2016 with a french medical research association PhD grant (FRM). He has a strong educational background in genetics after completing both a Masters and a Magister in this field at the University Paris Diderot. Prior to starting his PhD, Theo had the great opportunity to work as a research assistant in Dr Stefan Feske lab at NYU Medical Center (NYU, New York, USA) and Dr Benoit Bruneau lab at the Gladstone Institutes (UCSF, San Francisco, USA). He learned how to genetically engineer and manipulate immune cells and embryonic stem cells, and to conduct large-scale experiments.
